"There's something wrong with that level of perfection... It needs to be violated." Though just a quote from a tv show, it is very pertinent to Dostoyevsky's reading. In our discussion, we talked about a innanate sense that humans must destroy the sublime. I personally think that perfection can sometimes be very unsettling and downright annoying... And in order to control your fate, one must destroy said perfection. The idea of the "wall" was also interesting because I agree that people do have limits and are almost more comfortable teaching an emotional, and intellectual barrier because thus one does not worry about change or the unexpected.
