Raoul's Monday Post
In today's class we talked about the idea that the journey is more important than the destination. Even though this idea is cliche, it is extremely true and helps us understand what we should value in life. While I find it ironic that the quote encompasses all of life because in fact we are all on a journey towards death, and the truth is that we must enjoy the journey. The reason why I believe humans need to have a destination is because we are animals of lines. we love lines and sharp edjes because we understand them, with a start and most importantly a divined definite end, which give us a wall to lean on. Interestingly, The entire video game industry is built on the idea that "journey is more important than the destination". You play a video game to finish it; however, you enjoy the process because once the game is done you become almost nostalgic. Ill leave you with a final question then (its slightly on topic :), but it goes in well with todays conversation) would you rather own a private jet or a private yacht??
