Alexa Ferrer Tuesday
Today we discussed the true human advantage and I really enjoyed the discussion. It reminded me a lot of my term book "On The Road" which offers an ideal example of unpredictable human behavior. In the book a man named Dean leaves his wife marries another woman cheats on the current woman with his ex all while driving cross country like a mad man. Basically it comes down to people making choices that do not make sense according to the laws science and religion have tried to define human behavior by. The truth is certain things of evolutionary theory make sense and certain things that come from religion make sense (ex: human right to free will). What doesn't make sense and what can't be defined by either of these two ideologies are why we are so unpredictable. The fact that we are so unpredictable is what separates us from everything else it's the reason we can live how we do. I'm fine with not knowing why we act the way we act I don't think everything needs to be broken down with a detailed analysis. We're human we do what we want and that's it.
