Bill Nye is such a cutie. I'm happy we were able to watch his point of view today and I think it's safe to say for the most part he won the debate. The reason I say for the most part is because after reading NOTUG I believe that to be intellectual one should not have a position on something that negates all other positions. If some points the Australian guy makes and some points Bill makes make sense, then all those who fervently follow one and negate the other are ignorant. I think it is important to build my beliefs with an open mind and in order to do so it would be hypocritical to completely negate one man or another. They are both very intelligent scientists and while I agree with more of what Bill Nye says to support the argument, I also have some religious elements in me because of my background.
