After
reading the posts from Thursday I’m jealous of the discussion I missed. It
seems we dug deeper into the most advantageous advantage. I found Ciara and
Ryan P.’s post very accurate and insightful. The comment about the zebras makes
complete sense, I just have never really thought about it like that before. Our
tendency to work against logic and reason makes us the greatest animals on
earth. In Ryan’s post he brought up how school ironically may be detrimental to
our creativity and abilities to learn. I completely agree with this statement. People
like Albert Einstein and Steve Jobs refuted the norm and are now considered
some of the greatest minds. Innovation is everything. I really like how all the
books we have read this year are all interconnected through similar themes. This part of Dostoyevsky’s NFTU reminds me of Atlas Shrugged.
