Isa's Wednesday post
It's ironic how religion and society's institutions are meant to establish order and control but in reality, they cause rebellion and bloodshed. It almost renders society's rules pointless if breaking them seem to be inevitable. The undergrounds man comparison between the uncivilized and civilized man was in my opinion, accurate. It's disturbing that murdering and violence was once done for food or competition and it now occurs for no such concrete reason. What's worse is that man knows exactly how bad violence is and yet consciously commits such act. I think the argument that man does such things because of the laws of nature is ridiculous. No single explanation can define the human race, so why would something as abstract as law of nature account for man's unjustifiable actions.
