Discussion Wednesday

I think it is near impossible for us to live our lives with the idea of eternity in the forefront of our minds.  We live our entire lives dealing with finite things, whether it is something as simple as a phone, or something as complicated as a life.  Even resources that are labeled as inexhaustible have a finite supply that will eventually run out.  Since we live in our world where everything has a limit, it becomes too complicated to imagine something that has no end.  I can imagine something that has a huge amount, but not an infinite sum.  I think people need to see things in finite amounts, because they are tangible.  If we just saw the huge infinite picture, would there really be a point to living?  I would feel so insignificant that I would stop caring about most everything.
