How much do you like this book?

Raoul's Saturday Post

I found today's reading to be my favorite reading of this book so far. I like how Dostoyevsky has slowed down and has begun connecting his ideas and arguments. With this, the conversation becomes less like a rant and more like a lecture, which I enjoy. On the other hand, Dostoyevsky is still out side of common logic and reason, which makes it difficult to understand him. For example, one of his most common arguments is that the common artistic expression of "twice two makes four" should not be regarded as fact because "twice two is five" is a charming thing too. Never the less, I am enjoying the reading of Notes From The Underground. I just got to Propos of the Wet Snow and I am exited to hear about the story that Dostoyevsky has to say. I am also happy that I am going to get some dialogue.
